Mary gets Married

As I mentioned yesterday, Mary got married at the beginning of October in Vegas!

At the beginning of the month 50+ of our closest family and friends traveled to VEGAS to witness my little sister and her fiance (now hubby) Shawn get hitched!!

 

It was a fabulous celebration and a beautiful wedding.

Little sister is getting married....in Vegas!!

I spend the weekend with my mom and sister in Las Vegas!! We went there to plan my sisters WEDDING....how exciting. She is getting married on October...so we had to go scope things out and make the arrangements....I HAD to go along as Matron of Honor...what a drag ;)

She decided to do everything at Mandalay Bay. Can't say that I blame her. It is beautiful...wedding chapel, pool, shops, etc...all so nice! She will be getting married there and then having an "in suite" reception in one of their huge, beautiful suites overlooking the strip....yay!

We got a pool view room for the weekend...and spend quite a bit of spare time taking advantage of these beautiful pool and the amazing weather {when we weren't busy wedding planning, of course}Mary and mama pose for a photo op!

So much fun....4.5 more months and we will be back to do it all again...but even bigger and better for the actual wedding!! YAY.

Sister is home!

My sister got home on Friday afternoon. she will be home visiting (from Boulder) for 9 days. Since she has been home we have been doing lots of hanging at the lake...and eating! Blake hadn't seen her in over 2 months....but lit up like crazy when he did. He definitley did not forget his Aunt Mary :)
Tomorrow we are taking Blake to the zoo. It will be hos first trip to a zoo...and I think that he will really enjoy it..AND, I am pumped to have the day off of work!!

Blake LOVES to swim..but this is what happens when it is time to get out of the water....not a pretty site!!

I have been a bad blogger...and don't have much time to post today...however wanted to post a few pictures that I took on Saturday night of the sunset. The sky was awesome...hot pink!!

We had a good weekend..I had Friday off, so I am busy catching up at work today. Hopefully I am feeling back on track tomorrow! I have lots of pictures of our nice Addy's 1st birthday party to post. Blake had a great time celebrating with cousin Addy :)

I am headed out to dinner tonight with the fam. Sister leaves tomorrow to move back to Colorado. I don't think that it has hit me yet...but we sure will miss her :(

Crazy Busy….

This weekend is CRAZY BUSY at work. It is one of my biggest events of the year---reunion weekend! I have events all day today through the evening and then tomorrow as well. I will be SO happy when it is DONE and I don’t have this in the back of my mind…once over I can focus on the WEDDING all next week.

Ryan has a golf outing tomorrow, and since I will be working, Mary has to babysit AGAIN…poor thing has been babysitting all week! We are so lucky to have so much family around. Blake gets plenty of attention even when his mama and daddy are busy! Thanks Aunt Mary :)

last night.....in pictures

We had a fun night last night....first I went to ww. The we all went to dinner b/c my Aunt Pat was in town. Blake slept pretty much the whole time, so when we got home we had to keep him up for awhile, so he would sleep through the night! We did...and he stayed up until about 10 and slept until 7 this morning...can't complain about that! He has been sleeping for about 10 hours straight for the past couple of weeks. The earlier he goes down, the earlier he gets up. He gets super tired at about 7:30...but is we let him go down then, he will be up at 5:30 a.m. and ready to PLAY :)
