Thankgiving with sister

Mary and Shawn were able to come home from Denver for Thanksgiving!  It was great to have them home for the weekend.  We are sad that they cannot come back to Michigan for Christmas though :(.

Mary gets Married

As I mentioned yesterday, Mary got married at the beginning of October in Vegas!

At the beginning of the month 50+ of our closest family and friends traveled to VEGAS to witness my little sister and her fiance (now hubby) Shawn get hitched!!

 

It was a fabulous celebration and a beautiful wedding.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Today I am linking up with Jamie for "What I'm Loving Wednesday"

I am LOVING that Blake is such a sweet, caring, SMART boy.  I never have to worry about his behavior at school...makes a mama proud!!

As always I am loving being a mom to this sassy, pretty, energetic little sweetie.  I am not loving that she fell down and got this boo-boo on her nose.  But she is still as beautiful as ever!!

I am Loving that my sister is getting married in ONE week.  We are leaving for Vegas next Wednesday...and she will be getting married on Friday!  More than anything, I am really just LOVING that she is so happy.

As a bonus to that, I am LOVING that we get to go to Vegas....and that we get to stay at Mandalay Bay - where the wedding will be :)

What Im loving Wednesday

 I have not linked up with Jamie for a What I'm Loving Wednesday in ages...but here goes!!

I am loving that I get to see my sister again in exactly two weeks.  She will be flying home from Denver...and we will be headed to Kentucky!

To go on our girls houseboat trip!  Yay...18 of our closest girls cruising on this beast for 4 days...so much fun!

I'm loving than in less the 2 months we well be headed back to Vegas....to celebrate my sister's and Shawn's wedding!!

I am loving that my Blake is having such a seamless transition to preschool.  He is doing great and fitting right in with his new older friends in his new "big boy" classroom!

I am loving how much this little girl is asserting her independence.  18-24 months is an age when SO many changes take place...and she is growing right up on us!!

I am loving that there is a feeling if fall in the air.  This is the best time of year...

I am loving that by birthday is on Friday (well not really)....but whatev!!

Instagrams lately....

Just a few pics that I have taken on my phone lately....what did we all do before iPhones and Instagram?!

Blake just recently "graduated" from the Tikes classroom and school and moved up to the preschool.  Whaaaaa....my baby is growing up.  That means one more year and then kindergarten!!  OMG.

He took donut holes for his classmates on his last day....boy was he proud!

Speaking of growing up....little miss Livi Kay looks about 1.5 going on 7 here.  Juice box, back pack....what's next, car keys?!!? :(

Picking my sister up at the airport!  She was home from Denver for a week....gone now...and I miss her even more.  That's the bummer about her visiting...reminds us of how much we miss her :(.

Little sister is getting married....in Vegas!!

I spend the weekend with my mom and sister in Las Vegas!! We went there to plan my sisters WEDDING....how exciting. She is getting married on October...so we had to go scope things out and make the arrangements....I HAD to go along as Matron of Honor...what a drag ;)

She decided to do everything at Mandalay Bay. Can't say that I blame her. It is beautiful...wedding chapel, pool, shops, etc...all so nice! She will be getting married there and then having an "in suite" reception in one of their huge, beautiful suites overlooking the strip....yay!

We got a pool view room for the weekend...and spend quite a bit of spare time taking advantage of these beautiful pool and the amazing weather {when we weren't busy wedding planning, of course}Mary and mama pose for a photo op!

So much fun....4.5 more months and we will be back to do it all again...but even bigger and better for the actual wedding!! YAY.
