Tractor Ride

Great-Grandpa Bechtel (Ryan's grandpa) has lost of tractors adn loves to take Blake for rides. I am not actually sure who gets more excited about it....Blake or Grandpa! ha. Here are a few pictures of them on a ride the other day. It was a hot, hot day....

Next time he is heading out on the combine! At least that is enclosed and has some air conditioning. What a lucky little boty Blake is for having SO many people that just love to spend time with him!!

Grandpa Bill's Birthday Dinner

When we were in Florida we were able to celebrate my Grandpa's birthday! It was so nice to have everyone together to celebrate. Above he is giving a birthday speech! :)

It has been a long time since so many of our family members were together...probably since my wedding in sept. of 2009! Hopefully we won't wait so long to get together again. It is hard because we are all so spread out across the country....but so fun when we get together!

"Hey mama, I drive tractor"

This is what Blake is saying now. Blake's great-grandpa Tom took him on a tractor ride...and now he is obsessed with everything tractor!

He says " I drive tractor.."..."I ride tractor.."..."mama, is that tractor?.."....

I have to admit that I was a little nervous about Grandpa taking off down the road with Blake on his lap...but he said that he smiled from ear to ear the whole ride!!

**You don't see a little monkey riding a tractor every day, huh?!...in our defense this was on Halloween weekend, so we were in full costume mode the whole time :)

More pre-wedding festivities

My grandparents came to Mi for the wedding. I was exciting to have them here b/c they rarely make it up to MI anymore. They came in on Thursday before the wedding. We had dinner with them at my parents house.

It was also super exciting because it was the first time that they had met Blake. He is their 1st GREAT grandchild....so it was pretty special :)
