It's our Anniversary!!

Happy anniversary Ryan.

 

It's been 3 years since we got married and 5.5 years since

we met and I still get butterflies when I see you walk into a room.

 

Thanks for making me the luckiest girl in the world.

It's been a great three years.

Wedding Wednesday - Receptoin

I haven’t posted any wedding pictures in months and months…but I just got looking at them. We have been married for nearly a year and a half, but I still like to look at the pictures…and I have TONS of them!

Today I am posting a few from the reception. We had about 275 people for a fun night of dinner and dancing. Ryan and I have lots of crazy friends…so needless to say it was a fun night!

Ryan made quite the scene out of getting the garter…which was funny mostly because it is out of character for Ryan. He is usually pretty shy and reserved…so to have all eyes on him and have him making a big scene was funny!

Apparently his shirt had to be untucked for the big toss?!?!

oh well....he's still cute :)

What a great day. I wish I could go back and do it all again….OF COURSE I would marry the same guy :)

Wedding Wednesday...

I have not posted any wedding pictures in quite awhile, but decided that I would today because our anniversary is coming up (and I don't really have anything else to blog about...hahaha). These are more of the professional pictures that we have the copyright for.

Our anniversary is on Sunday....hard to believe that we have been married for a year, but at the same time....it feels like we have been together forever. My parents are celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary on Friday! We are going to a Tigers game on Friday night and then not sure what else for the rest of the weekend. I think that Ryan and I plan on going on a date to celebrate. We are rarely together just the 2 of us! We are going to hold off on any trips until I am not pregnant :)

Wedding Wednesday

Today batch of pictures features Ryan with some of his groomsmen. He had 6 groomsmen and 3 ushers...so this isn't all of them, but I think 5 pictures a week is enough :)

This is Ryan with his brother Josh. Josh was the Best Man. He is about 15 months older than Ryan, so they were very close growing up!

This is Mike. Mike and Ryan have been friends since kindergarten when they started going to school together. Ryan was in Mike and Shannon's wedding last August. They got married about a month and a half before we did!

This is Erik. Ry and Erik have also been friends since kindergarten. He makes Ry look like a total shrimp...Erik is really tall. Ryan will be in his wedding on August 7th!! He and Kellianne now live up in Traverse City, but we still see them a lot.

This is Ry with Eric..but everyone calls him Squirt. Once again, friends since Kindergarten. Can you tell Ry is from a small town and have a group of very tight knit friends?!!? Ry and Squirt have lots of fun fishing together...one of their favorite hobbies!!

This is Ry with Aaron....most ppl. just call him Harsh (his last name). Harsh is from a neighboring town...but lived with Ry and his friends at college. He is the wild one of the bunch and always a good time. His gf Heather used to be my roomie. They aren't engaged yet...but will be soon I bet :)

Can't believe that our wedding was already 7 months ago.....time just goes TOO fast. We will be celebrating out 1st anniversary before we know it :)

Wedding Wednesday

The pictures this week were taken pre-ceremony. We did all of the "girl" pics and then the "boy" pics...Ryan and I really didn't want to see each other before the ceremony so we could have that moment when I was walking down the aisle...but we wanted to get some pictures out of the way so that it didn't take all afternoon between the ceremony and reception!!

My friend Erica...who was 7.5 months preggers at the time of our wedding....you can barely tell in the picture!! Erica and I were roomies after I graduated from college...she lived with me in my house just before I met Ryan and when we started dating!! We have had LOTS of great times together. Now our sons are going to be best buddies!! They are 11 months apart in age.
This is Dani, my little SIL. She is Ryan's little sister, 8 years younger than him. She is a senior in HS this year....we cant believe that she is graduating and going to college soon!!

This is Danielle. Danielle and I met in college in the downs when we lived in Sweeney Hall. We lived down the hall from each other but because instant BFF's. We went on to live together in apts. for the rest of college. Danielle and her hubby Doug got married just 2 weeks before Ryan and I!

Carson...one of the friends that I have had for the longest. We have been friends since Kindergarten!! Pretty crazy. She moved in with Danielle and I when we moved to an apt. in college. She is always a GREAT time...and the best friend a girl could ask for. Always there when you need her :)

My mom...didn't she look GREAT! Loved her dress. my mom sure did make the whole wedding process great. Always helping me out with everything that needed to be done...shopping, invites, putting things together...you name it! Love her SOO much!!

Wishful Wednesday - Gowns

'I wish' .... I could have worn _____________________on my wedding day!

Actually I don't think that I would change a thing about my wedding dress! I loved it and felt like a million bucks :). It was actually really hard for me to pick out a dress....I had had Blake less than 2 months before the date that I had to order my dress...so I was not in tip top shape. Every dress that I slipped on I quickly slipped right off b/c it wasn't want I wanted to look like in my dress.

Finally...my mom and sister just had to ask what I envisioned...and we went with it! I knew that I wanted a lace dress. I wanted a sweetheart neckline. I wanted a drop waist. And not too much of a poof....

SO, I didn't have the "moment" when I knew that this dress was THE ONE...but 6 month later, when it came in and I got to try it on....I was happy. A few weeks later when alterations had been made and inches had been taken off (yay) and I put it on...it finally was perfect...and I was in LOVE!!
