Trouble with a capital T

Yesterday I blogged about what A GOOD boy Blake was.  Well let me tell you this...my Little Olivia is going to give us a run for our money!

This girl has attitude for DAYS.  She is something else.

She even looks like a mess...this is about 2 minutes after I got her hair looking just perfect.  This is just a glimpse of how crazy she is.  I mean, what is she doing that she can do THIS to her hair in minutes?!  Rolling around like a banshee.

This is most definitely a "not me mama" face.....

And I should have known something was up here...it was too quite.  Cotton balls everywhere.  This is one of her favorite past times....empty EVERYTHING out of any given cabinet, drawer, cupboard, etc.

I caught Blake sitting on the table the other day....check out this face.  Do you think that he knew that he wasn't supposed to be up there?

How could I even be mad at him with a face like that though?!

Blake is not the kind of kid that you have to discipline.  He really WANTS to please you and do the right thing (at all times)...so I really only have to look at him and he straightens right out.

ahhhh....I just love him to pieces!!

New House - Master and Foyer

My mom and dad got be this new bed set for my birthday (which was on Friday).  Love it!!

Still have some work to do with decorating this room..but it's coming along :)

 Foyer...got a new rug, bench, BIG mirror.  Love how this is all coming together!!

I still have not painted a single wall....I am just not sure what colors to go with.  So for now...it's a big blank canvas!

We have a room in our "new" house that is nothing more than a mudd room.  It is just off the garage entrance...and since we moved in I have just been shutting the door and forgetting about it.  Well...I think its time to put the room to use.

Now I just need to see if this is something that my handy hubby can make.  I have dropped a few subtle hints.  OR, maybe they weren't so subtle.  I repeatedly e-mail him this picture.  Hopefully soon he gets the "hint"!!

What Im loving Wednesday

 I have not linked up with Jamie for a What I'm Loving Wednesday in ages...but here goes!!

I am loving that I get to see my sister again in exactly two weeks.  She will be flying home from Denver...and we will be headed to Kentucky!

To go on our girls houseboat trip!  Yay...18 of our closest girls cruising on this beast for 4 days...so much fun!

I'm loving than in less the 2 months we well be headed back to Vegas....to celebrate my sister's and Shawn's wedding!!

I am loving that my Blake is having such a seamless transition to preschool.  He is doing great and fitting right in with his new older friends in his new "big boy" classroom!

I am loving how much this little girl is asserting her independence.  18-24 months is an age when SO many changes take place...and she is growing right up on us!!

I am loving that there is a feeling if fall in the air.  This is the best time of year...

I am loving that by birthday is on Friday (well not really)....but whatev!!

A conversation with Blake on his 1st day of preschool

Of course I had to steal this idea from Pinterest...but what a great idea it is.  I plan on asking these same questions to Blake at the beginning of each new school year.

Can't wait to hear what he has to say as a Kindergartner...well I can, b/c I don't want him to grow up...but you know what I mean :)

Summer snacking....

Blake and his cousin Addyson enjoying a Popsicle on a hot summer day.  What a mess...but oh so good!

 Blake and Addyson are only 4 months apart, so have been at the same level their whole lives.  They even go to the same school (daycare).  Blake just moved up to the Preschool room and Addy stayed in the Tike room.  I think that they are having a little separation anxiety.  I figure it's good for them to have a little independence though....and Addy will be a preschooler soon enough!!

Summertime hobby...

GOLF!

My girlfriends and I golf together about every other week...so fun to get out there with just the girls.  We are not very serious about it...but we are getting better every time!

Every other Wednesday (or so) Ryan get the kids from "school" and they are on their own for the evening so I can have me "me" time :)

I used to be on a more formal league...but this is just laid back and totally "just for fun."

We typically play a scramble...or lose track of the score by the end!! haha

It was a PERFECT evening for golf.

I LOVE this time of year.  It is still warm...but you can start to feel fall in the air.  The smell and sounds are different. 

And me  on the last hole of the evening.  This pic makes it look darker than it actually was.

There was a full moon rising and it was beautiful!!
