Pictures pictures....

and MORE pictures....
I feel like we have had SO many opportunities to get pictures taken lately. I really do not know what to do with them all....I am a member of our local Jaycee's and we had a holiday fundraiser....selling photo sessions! SO, of course I had to purchase a session. We used it for family holiday pictures...and they are nothing spectacular...but they turned out OK. Here is a sample:

I am not usually one to get into the whole belly picture thing....but there is no hiding this thing now, so might as well embrace it, huh?!?
B wanted to ride this little thing right home...haha!

Our last family picture before we become a family of 4!!
I am using these for holiday cards as well...so some of you will see these again :)

Pregnancy: Week 36

DATE: November 24, 2010

How far along: 36 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 36 pounds…..I have lost a few pounds this week…but I have been sick :(

How big is baby? By 36 weeks pregnant, your baby is now 5.9 pounds and about 18.6 inches or longer! Baby is still working on putting on weight during pregnancy week 36. While that may not seem very exciting, keep in mind that this is his primary job from now until delivery.

Maternity Clothes: yep!

Sleep: Not good this week. Have been pretty darn uncomfortable!!

Best Moment of the Week: hearing the baby’s heartbeat at my appt. today.

Movement: oh yes….always! Lots of kicks to the ribs. Also having contractions this week. Some painful, some not…but nothing too consistent.

Food Craving: …no appetite for the past couple of days. I have been sick, sick, sick. Can’t keep anything down!!

Food Aversions: This week, lots…but just because of the flu!

Morning Sickness: morning, afternoon, and night!! ha

Gender: GIRL!!

Symptoms: heartburn, difficulty sleeping, LOTS of Braxton hicks contractions…

What I miss: bending over comfortably to put on my socks and shoes!!

What I'm looking forward to: WELLLL….I have an ultra sound on Friday to see what is happening. I measured 34 weeks when I was 32, 34 when I was 34, and now that I am at 36 weeks I am only measuring at 32. Doctor wants to check to make sure that baby is ok. She may be out of room…or not able to grow inside there anymore. This could explain some of the discomfort that I am feeling. Doc says that she is being extra precautions…but wants to make sure that everything looks ok and proportionate. SOOOO, I guess we will have more news on Friday afternoon.

**no pictures this week b/c I was sick and in bed the whole time. No one needs to see that!!

Where did the day go?!

I had planned on writing up a post today...and all of a sudden the day is over!! I am headed to a Bridal Shower this evening. Blake, my mom and I are heading to Frankenmuth tomorrow for a little overnight trip!! We will be shopping and staying at a hotel with an indoor water park! I will try to take some pictures of that :)

I will leave you with some pictures of my tired little cowboy...with his little cowboy :)
Yee-haw
(we hear that about 100x's per day :))

Pregnancy: Week 35

DATE: November 18, 2010

How far along: 35 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 39 pounds…..WHY I keep disclosing this information is totally beyond me, but whatever!

How big is baby? baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in the womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

Maternity Clothes: yep! Actually just had to go buy 2 pairs of work pants yesterday b/c my other weren’t fitting :(

Sleep: could be better, could be worse. Blake is sleeping again…but I am up about every hour on the hour to go to the bathroom!

Best Moment of the Week: hmmmm….not sure, just glad to be one week closer! OH, and I got a bunch of cute bows and headbands for her to wear…I hope that she is a girly-girl like her mama!

Movement: oh yes….always! She’s a mover. The kicking is getting much more painful now. She likes to stick her feet up into my rib cage!

Food Craving: …just an unusually large appetite! Mexican….and grapefruit…

Food Aversions: none

Morning Sickness: nada

Gender: GIRL!!

(I realize that this is not the most flattering outfit...but it is getting harder and harder to dress for work, and I always take these pics prior to leaving for work!)

Symptoms: heartburn, sore hips, difficulty sleeping, LOTS of Braxton hicks contractions…not really painful, just uncomfortable.

What I miss: bending over comfortably to put on my socks and shoes!!

What I'm looking forward to: Dr. appt. next week to hear if there is any progress…and finishing up her nursery!

Addyson's Baptism...

On Sunday our niece Addyson got baptised during mass. She did a really good job and seemed to enjoy all of the attention that she received from everyone!

Cousin Blake was there in the front row to support her (along with Woody...who goes EVERYWHERE with us).
Addy with her God-Parents Ryan and Dani
(her aunt and uncle)
Uncle Ryan and baby Addy after the mass...
Blake just waiting for everyone to pack up and head on out :)

Dylan's 1st Birthday Party!

On Saturday Blake and I attended one of my besties (Erica) son Dylan's 1st birthday party. It was lots of fun! I cant believe that Dylan is one already. It seems like he was just born! Time just goes so fast.

Dylan got LOTS of goodies...and Blake really enjoyed all of the festivities. It took him awhile to warm up to the crowd, but once he did he was just fine!

Birthday Boy...
Enjoying all of the attention (and gifts)!
Blake decided that he was going to get right in the mix. Here he is sitting on Dylan's dads lap during the unwrapping of the gifts!
Dylan and Blake...little buddies :)
Blake enjoying some party snacks!
Dylan dove right into the cake like a big boy. He just picked it up and ate it like he did that every day!! He barely made a mess at all...
Since the "party" Blake has decided that he is ALL about partying. When we pulled in at church on Sunday morning he said "we're at the party"...haha, so cute!! He wore a new coat to the party as well...and now refers to it as his "party coat"...

Raising him right....

I am starting early with Blake when it comes to chores!! I figure if we start him doing the laundry now he wont know any different :)....J/K, I do NOT make him do the laundry..but he really is a great little helper!! The other night he took every single piece out of the washer (one by one), transferred it to the dryer, and turned it on! He is going to make someone a good husband one day :)

I really think that he just like turning the dryer on, b/c it makes all kinds of beeps and noises :)....but hey, if that's all it takes, what the heck?!

Pregnancy: Week 34

DATE: November 11, 2010

How far along: 33 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 37 pounds…..no comment :(
How big is baby? Baby's now the size of a honeydew! About 18 inches and 5.5 lbs.
Baby can recognize and react to simple songs...time to start practicing your lullabies! In fact, baby will recognize frequently sung tunes after birth and probably find them soothing. Less cute news: She now urinates about one pint per day. Get the diapers ready!

Maternity Clothes: yep!

Sleep: could be better, could be worse. Baby girl moves like a monkey all night long….and now Blake has reverted to staying up all night long. We are having some serious issues the past 3 nights. I am not sure if it is the day-lights savings time change or what…but I think that it is more because this isn’t just getting up 1 hour early…this is UP all night. Making me nervous to add another one to the mix!!

Best Moment of the Week: having my Dr. appt. Doc says that baby’s head is down and in position and ready to go! Hopefully she stays like that!

Movement: oh yes….always! She’s a mover and a shaker!

Food Craving: …just an unusually large appetite! And soup.

Food Aversions: none

Morning Sickness: nada

Gender: GIRL!!

Symptoms: heartburn, sore hips, difficulty sleeping, emotional…..lovely, huh?

What I miss: bending over comfortably to put on my socks and shoes!!
What I'm looking forward to: finishing up her nursery!

"Hey mama, I drive tractor"

This is what Blake is saying now. Blake's great-grandpa Tom took him on a tractor ride...and now he is obsessed with everything tractor!

He says " I drive tractor.."..."I ride tractor.."..."mama, is that tractor?.."....

I have to admit that I was a little nervous about Grandpa taking off down the road with Blake on his lap...but he said that he smiled from ear to ear the whole ride!!
**You don't see a little monkey riding a tractor every day, huh?!...in our defense this was on Halloween weekend, so we were in full costume mode the whole time :)
