My babies

No time to write much of a post today - but since I have neglected my blog for years, I can just post a few pictures from this past fall.

Taylor wasn't really into posing for the photographer - but she was fine if she was with me.  In retrospect that worked out great - because now I have this picture of the two of us!

Pregnancy post - Week 26

Pregnancy: Week 26

DATE: March 15, 2013

 

How far along: 26 weeks

 

Total Weight Gained: 14 pounds.  I hardly gained at first…and now I am gaining like crazy :(.  2 pounds this WEEK alone...

 

How big is baby:

 

baby at 26 weeks :

-Her eyes are forming, and his eyes will soon start to open.

-And her eyelashes are now grown, too.

-She's getting her immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies.

-She's taking breaths, too. They're of amniotic fluid, not air, but it's still good practice.

Maternity Clothes:  Wearing a mixture of both.  Regular jeans on today, but maternity top.

Sleep: sleeping good…

Best Moment of the Week: Getting into the double digits!  We only have 98 more days until the due date now!!

 

Movement: yes…she is still QUITE the mover…always flipping around.

 

Food Craving: oh just EVERYTHING…I am very hungry…and just could eat and eat (this is NOT a good sign)!!

 

Food Aversions: none really…

 

Morning Sickness: nope….

 

Gender: Not sure…but feeling like a girl this week.  Had an apt. on Monday, and the heart rate was 173…so fast!

 

Symptoms: a little tired this week….still congested.

 

What I miss: wearing my “skinny” clothes…but I am trying to embrace my bump!

What I'm looking forward to: vacation…..(ok that’s not pregnancy related, but still….)

*I am loving that I am almost 18 weeks pregnant….

that means almost ½ way there.  It is just flying by.

*I am loving that next week is our Fetal Ultra Sound…that means lots of time looking at our little #3 peanut…

 

*I am loving that we have just over 11 weeks until our Florida vacation!  I can’t wait….sun, fun, sand, swimming, family :).

*I am loving my NEW CAR!  We just picked it up in Monday…I am still nervous to get it dirty.  The extra space will be awesome!

*OF COURSE I am always loving my sweet {growing} family....these kids are everything to me!

Where is the time going...

I am just sitting here planning a birthday party for my babies...I just cannot believe that in 2 short weeks I will have a 4 year old and a 2 year old! I love watching the grow up, and they are getting much easier...but it all just goes by SO fast.

Seems like we were just having a b0day party for their 3rd and 1st b-days!

 

On that same note...I cannot belie how long it has been since I blogged.  I have a little stock-pile of pictures and stories to post...so I am hoping to get back into the swing of things soon!

And she ate cake...

Livi's cake smash photo session wasn't much of a smash at all. Our girl is an eater....and she eats like a big girl! She saw that cupcake and went straight for her mouth. Bless her little heart!!

Liv and Blake are opposites when it comes to eating. She is, and always has been, a great eater. She likes everything. She is always ready to eat. Blake could care less about eating. Eating is a chore for him. It is painful for him to come to the dinner table..he is simply to busy to stop and eat. Ha, I wish I had Blake's problem....too busy to eat?! No such thing!! Liv definitely takes after her mama!! :)

Posting a few more pics from Liv's 1 year birthday shoot.

I think that this one is one of my all time favs. Just captures her sweet little disposition so well.

For many of the pics she would not let go of her "baby." She just loves this little thing. Carries it with her everywhere. She drags it all around the house. At first I was mad that she wouldn't part with it for the pics...now I am kinda glad. It will be a good memory looking back :)

Liv's walking has really taken off. She barely crawls now.

Her tooth on the top is starting to poke through...this is her third.

Her hair is getting long on the top. I have to put it in a little pony tail or it is in her eyes!

She is sleeping like a champ. Between 12 and 14 hours each night.

She is the sweetest little thing ever. We just love her.

And the cuteness just keeps coming....

I think that my poor girl got the Galgoczi ears! Luckilly she can pull them off!

The more that I look through these pics, the more that I just love them. They realy capture Livi...and her personality. She is such a good girl!! Ugh....still can't believe that my baby is ONE!!

More cuteness...and an emotional mess!

Just wanted to post one more little sneak of Olivia's darling 1 year pictures. I think that one is one of my favorites! I just love this little bug!!

Olivia STILL isn't walking. I think that this is a little strange and startling, however I am not TOO worried. She does seem so strong. She is quick as a bee at crawling, so I am thinking that she just thinks that walking is a waste at this point. She stands easily hanging on to something...but not much on her own yet. I guess she will walk when she is good and ready!!

Blake walked just before his 1st b-day, and I thought THAT was late....little Miss Priss is pushing the limits!!

Not sure if I am just being emotional today of what....this about brought me to tears today on Pinterest! I love it...and I sure do love my kids!!

Olivia's 1 Year Pictures

I had Olivia's 1 year pictures taken on Saturday. A friend that I graduated high school with is just starting to take pictures (professionally/for others). Nikki did a GREAT job, and I am really happy with the pictures that she got. She edited them in a matter of 24 hours and sent the link right away....that was a bonus for this impatient mama :)

We did a few different locations/outfits...this was the 1st and I think that they are my favorite!

So Long Fall....

It is so hard for me to believe that today is November 15th. Where is the time going?! NEXT week is Thanksgiving?! That just blows my mind! I feel like it JUST turned to fall...and now it will be winter! We had one day with a few snow flurries, but nothing that stuck around. The weather has been very nice, so maybe that is why it doesn't feel like the holiday time to me yet!
I actually have started some Christmas shopping....thank goodness...because Christmas is only 5.5 weeks away!I am really looking forward to Christmas with Blake this year. He is already so excited about it! We talk about it every day...that and his birthday which is on Dec. 13th!

I am looking forward to starting some holidy traditions with the kids...decorating, baking cookies, looking at Christmas lights, etc. We have so much to look forward to! I am ALSO looking forward to Christmas because my sister will be home! Although I was just in Denver to visit her, I feel like she hasn't been home in forever...and I am SO excited to have her come here :)

Fall Photos

We had fall photos taken on Saturday! Ryan had to work at the last minute, so he could not go. I wasn't really planning on being IN many pics...but she did take some with me in them. This is the facebook sneak peek that is up already! Not the greatest of me...but cute of my babies! My parents came too and got in a few with the kids...hopefully those turned out!!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...Blake is NOT the best little model these days. haha

Family Pictures

I got some more of the proofs back on our pictures that we had taken a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time was we have had family pics taken as a family of four!!

Little Olivia LOVES the camera and cheeses it up every time!!
Unlike her big brother who seems to HATE to have his picture taken. He needed a little extra special attention from me to get him to crack a little smile.

Here Miranda caught him with a real smile! I love this one.

Tu-tu cute!

We had Olivia's pictures taken back at the beginning of February. She was 7.5 weeks old when these were taken. What a peanut....

So serious here...but still SOO cute!
So glad to have a girl to dress up :)...lets hope that she likes pink!

Little Cuties...

I am waiting until Olivia is a little older to have "real" professional pictures taken...but I just took her down to good old Wal-Mart for the $7.99 special to get some taken for right now. She is just too cute! I was thinking that she would be sleeping and I could get the typical newborn baby shot...but she was WIDE awake! They turned out cute anyway...
I realized that I just couldn't have Olivia's pictures taken and not Blake's...so I had his done too. He HATED IT.....but they got one good one. This was the very first shot...before he realized what was going on! **I stole these pictures off of the "proofing page"...so they have words through the faces...but you get the idea! Not bad for $8 each for 30 prints :)
