How far along: 24 weeks, 6 days
(I am doing this post a day early because we are leaving for a mini-vacation tomorrow and I won’t be posting!)
Total Weight Gained: 18 pounds …. REALLY popping out now, there have been major changes in the last few weeks
How big is baby: The structures of your baby's spine are beginning to form while the blood vessels of the lungs develop as well. Also, his nostrils are beginning to open. Your baby now has fully formed fingerprints and his bones are continuing to harden. If your baby were delivered now it would have a chance of surviving due to some great advances in medicine. The premature baby could survive in an incubator for few months. Her taste buds are forming, and she may be developing a weakness for sweets. She is about 13 inches long and weighs a pound and a half.
Maternity Clothes: Yes! And I have to admit…I am much more comfortable!Sleep: really good this week…esp. the past 2 days b/c Blake has slept in til 7:15 and 7:45!
Best Moment of the Week: Ordered the crib, so we can start working on the nursery….actually, we will start working on Blake’s big boy room 1st and when that is complete, we can start on baby girl’s room!
Movement: yes…she is QUITE the mover…always flipping around.
Food Craving: oh just EVERYTHING…I am very hungry…and just could eat and eat (this is NOT a good sign)!!
Food Aversions: meatMorning Sickness: nope….
Gender: It’s a GIRL!!...
Symptoms: my back is starting to hurt a bit here and there…but that’s a bonus b/c I can talk Ryan into a massage every once in awhile!
What I miss: wearing my “skinny” clothes I guess
What I'm looking forward to: Our mini vacation this weekend…probably our last trip as a family of 3!! Pretty crazy to think about!
I have to say that these pictures are NOT flattering in the least, and I debated even posting any this week (or at least cutting off my head)...but then I figured what the heck...one day I will want to look back on this!! right?!?

Glad Blake slept in a little. Hope you had fun on your mini-vaca. Hard to believe you are coming along so quickly. With the holiday coming, it will go by so fast! I can't wait till your REALLY BIG! Ha! You will be so cute! I bet she'll look just like you.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one eating everythign in sight. Granted you are eating for two. Now, I'm depressed. We're just hibernating. I can't wait to see pics of both rooms. So exciting!
