Wedding Wednesday

Rolling on with 5 more photos from our wedding! I skipped posting any last week for some reason...

Grandpa and Grandma B...this is Ryan's grandparents (from his mom's side). They are so sweet. We see these grandparents more than the rest b/c they live in our same town (during the summer). The really LOVE their great-grandbabies, so Blake gets plenty of attention from them :)

Our guest book. Instead of the traditional guestbook where guests just write names and addresses, I made a scrapbook type guestbook. There are pictures of Ryan and I throughout...and our guests each signed and wrote s a little note! It will be fun to look back at in years to come...

Little Blake, just taking it all in before the big day. He STILL loves that little bear blankie that he is holding. We actually just had to purchase another one exactly like it, b/c he has a fit when we put it in the washing machine...ha.

My sister and I, my MOH, my bestie. I love her. She was such a good MOH and took her duties very seriously :)...pretty impressive for her, b/c Mary doesn't take many thing TOO seriously :). This pic makes me look SO tall compared to her...but I wore heals and she wore flats.

Me w/ one of my bridesmaids Heather. We were roomies at college. I was in Heathers wedding in the summer of 2008. We both had babies, just a few months apart...she is been such a great friend for a long time!! We don't live in the same town anymore, so we don't see each other as much as we would like...but we talk often and meet for lunch when we can!!

(those are just 2 of my 6 bridesmaids...but I like to keep these posts at 5 pictures max so they don't get TOO long...I will post on the other 4 next week :))

Wedding Wednesday

Posting some more wedding pictures. So hard for me to believe that we have been married for almost 6 months. The day seems like it was just yesterday...however looking at the pictures makes me realize that it was a long time ago! Blake looks so tiny. He has changed so much in these past 6 months!

Here we are getting the little peanut ready! He was sleeping in his car seat until just before pictures. We didn't want to wake him, so we all had to hurry and get him changed.

We aren't a traditional family, in that we had Blake 9 months before we got married....but having him there at our wedding made the day that much more meaningful for Ryan and I. And it was the day that I got to take the same last name as the 2 men in my life :)

Keeping with the Wedding Wednesday tradition, here are a few pictures from our photographer.

First is sweet little Blake before the ceremony. It was only 5.5 months ago, but he looks so different to me! Even fitting into that little car seat would be impossible today...

We had to wake Blake up to get him into his suit. What a little angel. Here he is with his Aunt Dani. Dani is Ryan's little sister...a senior in HS this year!

My dad, looking handsome, getting a little help from one of my besties, Carson. Carson worked as a florist for about 10 years from high school all of the way through college and even past that for a bit. SO, she is pretty much a boutonniere expert!!

I wasn't a HUGE fan of my shoes, but they were fairly comfortable, didn't have TOO high of a heal (Ryan isnt the tallest), and you couldn't even see them anyay!

Getting ready to put my necklace on. My MIL bought be a necklace and earings to wear on our wedding day. I wear the necklace quite often now.

My friend Carson helping me. We have known each other since kindergarden! Pretty crazy. We went to school together from K-12th grade. Then on to college together. We lived in the same apartment for a few years too! She is one my my closest and dearest friends :)

Wedding Anticipation pics

I am posting MORE wedding pics. Surely a bore to anyone that is reading my blog...but I am posting them more for me...to look back and remember one day. I have only been posting 5 at a time here and there...but have labeled them all...so one day I can go back and look at them when the mood strikes me!!

More pics of my dress...

Buying my dress was a source of much anxiety! I needed to start looking for a dress right after Blake was born...and order it when he was only 2 months old. Needless to say, my bod was NOT what I had envisioned it would be in a wedding dress at that time. It was depressing trying on the dresses...SO I just needed to think about what I had always wanted...order it...

and pray that I could fit into it...and that it would look good.

Wedding Anticipation pics

Well...not too much to blog about today, so I figured that I would post some more wedding pics. I haven't posted any in awhile. Hard to believe that we have been married for 3.5 months already!!

-Blake had an OK day at daycare yesterday...not good...but OK. He did good in the am but was fussy in the afternoon

-WHAT was up with the Bachelor last night...Jake is a dork...and those girls are WHACK's (except Ali and Tenley)!

after awhile, I just had to ask Jackie to give me the make-up brush and let me at it...esp. with the mascara, I dont know about you, but my eyes twitch like crazy when someone ELSE gets near me with that mascara wand...yet I am TOTALLY fine to do it by myself...WEIRD!
