baby-proofing

We finally had to break down and get the safety latches on the cupboards. Blake realized how fun it is to open everything up and pull EVERYTHING out!!

I have had the latches sitting on the counter for days as a ‘subtle hint’ for Ryan that we needed them up….last night he finally took the bait and started. He only got the cabinets under the sink done…but it’s a good start. Now if I could just get him to do one set a night we will be all set by the time….Blake goes off to SCHOOL! Ha….No, I am not complaining….at least we are getting somewhere now!

B is peeved that he can no longer get in to the cupboard with all of the chemicals….he pulled and pulled last night and just couldn’t figure it out :)….so he quit and went over and tackled the Tupperware cabinet.

I also started decorating for Christmas yesterday. My mom helped me and got the front porch done….so we are set with garland, lights, bows, and a wreath there. I pulled up one box of decorations from the basement and got those out. We still have two more boxes and the tree…maybe I will do the tree tonight?! I am really nervous that B is just going to be into the tree and ornaments constantly….AHHH!! this could be a nightmare!

Blake had to sit outside and watch up put up the garland....my sis was inside in the warmth....but he just sat at the door and whined until we took him out into the cold!
