Gender Reveal Party Details….

I guess we really didn’t take any pictures of the gender reveal this past Sunday….but I will write about it anyway!!

We had pink and blue ribbon pins and everyone had to pick what they thought it would be…pink or blue. My mom and dad both picked pink. Ryan’s mom and dad both picked blue. Ryan’s sister and brother both picked pink as well. I think that the only one that actually thought that it was going to be a girl was my dad…the rest that chose pink were just hoping!!

We wrapped a “it’s a girl” mylar balloon in a big box surrounded by pink tissue paper and confetti. We let Blake open the present and out floated our “it’s a girl” message!! Just about everyone got a little teary eyed…..it was fun to reveal our exciting news to everyone at once!!

Other than that we just enjoyed some food on the grill, as well as the nice weather. We took a boat ride and went swimming!!
my mom got this Ice Cream Cake from DQ!

Aww yay!! We are going to do a similar balloon idea next week at our party. Where did you get the ribbon pins? I like that idea better than having people wear either pink or blue.
