How far along: 23 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 14 pounds
How big is baby: a whopping 1.1 pound (or almost at least!). That is quite an accomplishment for someone that used to weigh less than one ounce. Your baby at 23 weeks is the size of a small baby doll you might purchase for a little girl. Your little one is now about 11 inches long!Maternity Clothes: still in normal clothing….but not for long! I am having to wear longer shirts to cover the growing bump.
Sleep: pretty good….but Blake hasn’t slept great this week, so that is putting a damper on things. Poor kid is suffering from his allergies!
Best Moment of the Week: Feeling LOTS of movement and we think that we saw some movement from the outside when we were laying in bed the other night.
Movement: yes…more and more. She is QUITE the mover…always flipping around.
Food Craving: nothing in particular this week, but have been eating plenty!
Food Aversions: noneMorning Sickness: I felt really sick on Sunday and Monday, but I am better now. I think that it was a combination of nausea and heartburn. GREAT…heartburn already?!
Gender: It’s a GIRL!!...and the more that it sinks in, the more excited I get!
Symptoms: the heartburn from earlier this week, but that has been better now.
What I miss: buttoning my pants…ha
What I'm looking forward to: doctor’s appt. next week! Crazy how much we look forward to going to the doctors while we are pregnant, when normally we DREAD it!!

something about hearing that little heart beating that sets a huge smile on my face too! my appt is next thurs and i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! granted the big appt is sept 13....gender and see my baby day!

PS. I LOVED my doc appts too when I was pregnant with Nik. It was my FAV time of the week bc you feel closer to the baby and your preg feels all the more real. You feel supported by the doc/office/other preg mommies too, and like you're doing the best for your babe!
My doc's office was attached to the hospital too, so it made it all them more real for me. I USED to walk around after if my appt went quick, and yes, I shopped in the Hospital gift shop. Leave it to me to find the opportunity to shop even in a hospital, ha!
Also LOVED getting off work! Yeah!

Hope the little ones allergies get better - we've had those around here and they have not been fun at all.
