Getting things DONE!

Got my nails done today….I feel like Edward Scissor-hands :)

Picked up my ring…it is BEAUTIFUL….I can’t wait to wear it!

Met with the priest for the final details…everything is ALL set for the ceremony

Had Blake try on his little suit…I think that it will work better than the tux…didn’t seem to bother his AS much.

Mother went to pick up G-pa and G-ma from the airport…we are heading out to my parents house for dinner with them….it will be their first time meeting Blake!

Have the day off tomorrow for lat minute preparations…and a pedi and lunch with my girlies!

Stressing out….

I think that I am freaking out! I feel like I have SO much stuff to do....but in actuality I really don’t have much to do. I am feeling anxious and nervous! Can’t believe that we only have 3 days now!!

I got the dress yesterday! I think that I like it more now than I ever did before J….probably b/c it fits now. I can’t wait to wear it.

I got my hair done today…..

Have a few errands to run tonight….

The BULK of my stress is probably coming from THIS…………………
He is being a PISTOL! He was rotten yesterday when we went to get the dress…..Mary says that he has been rotten today as well. Just as fussy as can be. I sure hope that he snaps out of it before Saturday. It will be a LONG day….esp. if he keeps this up!

Wedding Bells...

I guess the saying 'better late, than never' applies here! We went to my friend Danielle's wedding a couple of weeks ago and here I am just posting some pics.

Sleepy boy....Blake did SO good. It was about a 3 hour drive each way (prob wouldnt take that long if you didnt have a BABY)....but 6 hours in the car on one day and little Blakers was such a trooper. It helped that Aunt Mary was in the back seat to entertain him :)

Danielle and Doug had a beautiful day to get married on! Perfect weather....beautiful dress....good food and friends :)

The weather man is calling for rain on Saturday for our wedding....I hope that he is wrong, but if he isnt it will still be a beautiful day to us.

Crazy Busy….

This weekend is CRAZY BUSY at work. It is one of my biggest events of the year---reunion weekend! I have events all day today through the evening and then tomorrow as well. I will be SO happy when it is DONE and I don’t have this in the back of my mind…once over I can focus on the WEDDING all next week.

Ryan has a golf outing tomorrow, and since I will be working, Mary has to babysit AGAIN…poor thing has been babysitting all week! We are so lucky to have so much family around. Blake gets plenty of attention even when his mama and daddy are busy! Thanks Aunt Mary :)

new camera!!

I got a new toy!! I have been wanting a new camera for a LONG time...this week I finally went for it! I havent learned all of the tricks yet, but I feel like it is going to be great! I snapped just a couple of Blake and my mom...just using auto...and they already look better than they would have with my old camera. The color is just so much better and the imiages much clearer! NOW....when I have time....I WILL learn how to use it :)

I’ve been a BAAAAAAD blogger

I can’t believe that I haven’t posted in so long. I have been so busy. I am feeling so busy at work and super busy at home with all of the wedding stuff too!

We are getting lots done though and crossing lots of things off of our list! Can’t believe that we are getting married in 10 DAYS! We have waited for this and planned for this for a year…and all of a sudden its next week!

Ryan and I went this morning to the county clerk and applied for our marriage license. That was exciting!

Our house is over flowing with stuff for the ceremony, reception, gifts, etc. It will nice to get organized again after next week.

Blake LOVE all of the stuff around and tries to get into all of it! Especially the wrapping paper, bags, bows etc. This week he scootched himself all of the way from his bedroom across the hall to the sapre bedroom to get into some bags! It was cute to see him move so fast and independently, BUT it made me realize that nothing is out of reach any more!

Holy smokes….we are getting married in 15 days!!

2 of my friends are celebrating birthdays TODAY….Danielle and Carla! Happy birthday to them :)

Do you remember where you were on 9.11? It is one of those moments in time that we will ALWAYS remember! Every year on this day I think about what a terrible crisis the USA faced that day.

Heading out to meet the musicians for the wedding this a.m. Music will be finalized for the ceremony!

Have a hair appt. this afternoon…’practice’ for the big day :)

Still SO much to do…and still SO little time!

I hope that Blakers pops a tooth….he is hurting…and I am getting anxious to let him try some new foods…he is HUNGRY!

I love that Blake is developing such a personality. He is so funny. He loves attention, and the camera…(maybe a little something like his mother?!?). The minute that he sees the camera he starts to smile and pose!

He is doing this fake laugh now. When we laugh, le laughs…SO cute. He has been fake coughing for some time now….he likes the attention that he gets when he does it. It’s like a little baby choke…what a faker! Now he does it and we fuss over him….I hope that we aren’t creating a monster!!

Full-swing wedding mode

17 days out and we are 100% immersed in wedding stuff 100% of the time. I had felt like I was pretty prepared, but I am starting to freak out now!! There are SO many details to think about. I think that things are coming together, but I am nervous at the same time!!

I am so lucky that my mom and sister are here to help me finish everything up. Not sure what I would do without them!! They have been shopping, filling favors, getting details together, and on and on. THANK GOD for them :)

We have a never ending to-do list. Just when I think that we are getting close the list grows and grows….OH WELL…this is the fun part, right??

Labor Day Weekend...

Had a great weekend....beautiful weather! Hard to believe it was the end of summer when it was so warm and sunny! We took one of the docks out of the water....so that is alwasy a sure sign that it is winding down. I got some pics...but not very good ones...

Is it 5 o’clock yet?!?!?

First off, YES……I am blogging at work...don’t tell my boss! BUT, in my defense, I am about the ONLY person in the office. Its 4:30 on a Friday of a holiday weekend…let me go home PLEASE!! This has been the longest day of my life!!

I am SO ready for the weekend. It’s going to be a good one (fingers crossed). Running (1/2 walking) a 5K tomorrow a.m., having a little get together at the lake after that, getting stuff around for the wedding, hanging with the fam and some friends! Hard to believe that the end of summer is here…it went so fast! Yet, I am ready for fall (as I have mentioned before)…..

Hopefully a glimpse at things I will be doing this weekend...

I am at that point in all bride-to-be’s life when ALL I want to do is chop my hair off. My hair is sick as it is, but long…it is absolutely disgusting!! I have thin nasty hair...so it has to be short....HAS to be!

I am growing it out to wear it up…but I don’t know if I can hold out for another 3 weeks! I made an appointment today to get it colored…Ryan really lakes dark hair, and after seeing these pics, I can tell that my hair has had it. This is what happens after a summer of sunshine, swimming, and highlights….SICK! I will be going back to a more natural, darker, more classic look for the wedding.

SO, the countdown is on....only a few more weeks and it will ALL be gone!!

Bachelorette’s last night out!!

We had a wonderful time this weekend for my bachelorette party. I can honestly say that I have not partied THAT hard in a LONG time! We have TONS of pics of the party….but I will just post a few today as a little preview!

There were about 18 girls that made the trip up. I have the BEST friends ever. I feel so lucky to have such a great group of girls!

Ryan had his bachelor party on the same day, but I think that my girls out-did his guys :0)
