They had an in-suite reception at the Mandalay Bay resort.

So fun.

Mary gets Married

As I mentioned yesterday, Mary got married at the beginning of October in Vegas!

At the beginning of the month 50+ of our closest family and friends traveled to VEGAS to witness my little sister and her fiance (now hubby) Shawn get hitched!!

 

It was a fabulous celebration and a beautiful wedding.

Fall Family Pictures

We had our fall family pictures taken by Miranda of Miranda Parker Photography last week.

We hadn't had family pictures taken since summer of 2011, so we were due for some updates!

 

Miranda posted two sneak peeks on facebook, and I am really happy with these and cannot wait to see the rest!

 

Its funny the difference a year makes when it comes to photographing the kids.  Last year Blake hated it...this year he was a ham.  Last year Liv was an angel...this year, not so much!  Hm, oh well!!

Favorite part...

All in all, I think that Liv's favorite part of her very 1st field trip...was the BUS RIDE!!

 

She was giddy with excitement.  I think that the feeling of freedom of NOT being in a car seat was crazy for me (and I have to admit...I was feeling a little crazy myself...crazy anxious.  No car seat, ugh!!)

The PERFECT pumpkin...

Liv was on a mission to pick the perfect pumpkin.

 

in her mind perfect = biggest pumpkin in the patch.

I had to convince her that she probably didn't need a pumpkin that was bigger than her :)

She had her sights set on this huge one here...but she did eventually change her mind!

While at the Pumpkin Patch, Liv and her friends got to enjoy the bounce house!

On Sept. 26th Liv went to the Pumpkin Patch with her class.  Of course I joined...and took these pictures!!
