Sister is home!

My sister got home on Friday afternoon. she will be home visiting (from Boulder) for 9 days. Since she has been home we have been doing lots of hanging at the lake...and eating! Blake hadn't seen her in over 2 months....but lit up like crazy when he did. He definitley did not forget his Aunt Mary :)
Tomorrow we are taking Blake to the zoo. It will be hos first trip to a zoo...and I think that he will really enjoy it..AND, I am pumped to have the day off of work!!

Fun in the Sun!!

On Sunday of last weekend (4th of July) we went to Littlefield Lake to hang out with our friends!! It was fun....it is always a crazy party up there on the 4th, so I was a little hesitant to take Blake, but seeing that I would be staying 100% sober I thought that we would test it out. He did GREAT...and loved all of the ativity!!

We are the 1st of this group of friend to have a baby...so Blake gets LOTS of attention being the only little one around :)...I guess he will have to share that attention with his little bro/sis in a few months!

Pregnancy : Week 16

DATE: July 8, 2010

How far along: 16 weeks

Total Weight Gained: about 5 pounds….

Maternity Clothes: not yet…still in all of my regular clothes!

Sleep: waking up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom :(

Best Moment of the Week: Had a dr. appt. and got to see the peanut moving around like crazy!!

Movement: none yet that I can feel…but I sure did SEE it during the untra sound!

Food Craving: sweets…and chips/guacamole!!

Food Aversions: just cooking in general still…

Morning Sickness: Haven’t gotten sick in about 3 weeks…but still feel nauseas in the a.m. sometimes! Usually better after some juice.

Gender: IDK…and not still sure if we will find out this time. Have to decide before the 29th b/c that is when we are having the Fetal Survey Ultrasound!

Symptoms: My gums started bleeding this week…nasty!

What I miss: not much….my waistline :)

What I'm looking forward to: feeling movement!

Blake wonders why the camera was out and he wasnt the main focus...so he had to get in on one picture :)
And here is an Ultra Sound picture from my appointmnet on Tuesday. Still looks like an alien baby....but the cutest alien baby I have ever seen :)
Everything looked great...and baby had a strong heartbeat at 144!!
I go not for the full Fetal Survey US on July 29...I will be at 19 weeks then.

Wedding Wednesday

Can't believe that it is Wdnesday again already....this pat week flew by...probably with the help of the long weekend...I could get used to Monday's off!!

4th of July Weekend Re-Cap

We had a great long weekend. The weather was perfect. Blake was such a good boy and enjoyed the holiday festivities!!

Weekend plans!!

I am SO ready for this long holiday weekend! I am looking forward to three days off from work! We are headed to the lake after I get out of work today. Ryan has the day off and is home doing some landscaping in the back yard.

We really dont have anything major on the agenda....just swimming, boating, fishing, eating, and fireworks!!

I hope that everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July weekend :)

15 weeks!

Pregnancy : Week 15

DATE: July 1, 2010

How far along: 15 weeks

Total Weight Gained: about 3 pounds….give or take. It seems to fluxuate on a daily basis!

Sleep: having crazy dreams at night. And starting to wake up more to go to the bathroom L

Best Moment of the Week: Blake started to kiss my belly when we say kiss the baby….cute, although don’t think that he really has any clue what is happening!!

Movement: none yet

Food Craving: Still Mexican food…and breakfast foods (which is strange b/c I have never been a breakfast fan).

Food Aversions: just cooking in general. The whole raw meat thing is grossing me out. Once it is cooked I am OK with it.

Morning Sickness: I feel nauseous just about every day but have not actually gotten sick since this past weekend, before that it had been a couple of weeks. Majorly different from the 1st pregnancy when I was NEVER sick!

Gender: IDK…and not sure if we will find out this time.

Symptoms: tired here and there, but that is getting better now too!

What I miss: not much….starting to miss looking decent in a bikini as my body changes!

What I'm looking forward to: Dr. appt. next Wednesday!
