Toes in the sand....

After 20+ hours in the car we made it to Florida at about 2p.m. on Saturday.  Ahhhh.....what a beautiful site.  The kids could not WAIT to get their bathing suits on and RUN out to the beach!!

SO cute and fun to watch their excitement.

Blake is a beach lover...Liv prefers to stick to the pool (takes after her mama).  The sand kind of grosses her out.  She would RUN out there...and then RUN - at full speed - right back up to the steps to the pool.  lol.

Back at it....

I have been catching some flack (ah hem...Tony)....so here you go! Ha, no really...I need to get back in the swing of posting daily, but have been caught up in the daily grind and haven't had a chance to be on here much.  I will work on it...promise. 

I NEED to anywho....because this 3rd baby is going to be here (less than 8 weeks) and I need to start documenting.  Not fair to the 3rd if Blake and Liv have post upon post and then the 3rd one is neglected :(.

Work has been crazy busy....impending maternity leave, lots of summer programs to plan for, promotion (yay me)....so my blog-at-work time is next to nil right now.

I have lots of pictures to blog from our trip to Florida this month, so I will get on that soon...but need to upload them first.

For now, I will leave you with a couple instagram pics that I can pull from my phone!!

These are from the way to Florida.  We drove...20+ hours, a 4 year old, a 2 year old, a 30+ week preggers mama, a dad with road rage....it was a joy.  J/K....it actually wasn't bad at all...and I would totally do it again this weekend if we could!!

This is liv's signature look.  EVERY pair of glasses....EVERY time.  Never fails.  She rocks it I guess.

Sick babies....

I have had two sick little babies in my house for a few days now.

Poor Liv started with a fever on Friday night and has been in the dumps ever since.

Cough, runny nose, fussy, etc.

Poor Blake started coming down with the same crud on Sunday night.

His wasn't quite as bad, but overall - he is a sick pup too.

Still in good spirits though!





 

The whole fam has been hit...Ryan starting on Saturday and me on Monday.

Here's hoping that it is GONE tomorrow!!

 

Pirate Blake (Christmas Catch-Up)

Birthday Party...(way late)

Blake turned 4 on Dec. 13 and Liv turned 2 on Dec. 15 (b/c December isn't crazy enough as it is...I decided to have a couple kids then), so we had a family b-day party on the 14th!

 

It was just immediate family in attendance.  My parents, Ryan's parent, Ryan's grandparents, Ryan's sister Dani and fiance Chris.  Ryan's bother, SIL Arlee, and cousin Addy.  That still makes for a crazy/loud party!

 

Of course Blake wanted his favorite food..tacos, so tacos it was.  He originally wanted to serve cereal, but I told him that probably wasn't appropriate for a dinner party.

We never have a problem getting Olivia to eat.  Blake has always giving us a struggle.  If it is edible she WILL eat it.

Present time!!  We have been on present overload for the past 3-4 weeks.  B-day and Christmas = chaos!

Look at how long Olivia's hair is getting!  It looks so cute in pig-tails.  I really should get her a haircut....but I cannot bring myself to cut it off!!

Pretty Liv after waking up from a loooong nap on New Years Day.  She didn't stay up until the ball dropped the night before, but she did stay up way past her bedtime!

What I'm reading now....it's a oldie....but I haven't read it yet.  I am just starting..and honestly an not that into it yet.  I have so much stuff going on that reading is falling on my priority list each night!

Liv at her 2 year well visit.  I can't believe my baby is 2!  She still has a ridiculous fear of doctors (stemming from her issues/surgery when she was a baby I believe)...but she is getting better.  She is healthy and weighted in at just over 25lbs (35th percentile) and measured in the 65th percentile for her height.  Just perfect :).

 The day after Christmas Ryan and I traveled to Detroit for the Little Ceasers Pizza Bowl.  I had to work prior to the game...and we won!  Yay CMU.  The roads were CRAZY bad on the way down when I snapped this.  Luckily we drove the truck and had 4WD.

My angel babies sleeping snug in their beds....I could watch them sleep forever!!

I think that I will do my first pregnancy post (#3) tomorrow!

One this day four years ago at 6:39p.m. teeny little 6lb.3oz. Blake William entered this world and stole my heart. I can’t believe that my baby is four years old. I told him that I couldn’t believe it this morning. He said to me all seriously and grown-up-like, “I know mom, because I don’t seem like your baby anymore.” I told him that he would ALWAYS be my baby! Happy birthday Blaker! ♥
