More catching up

I STILL cannot get over how great I feel now that my major work events are behind me. It has been GREAT not worrying about that stuff!! I am so looking forward to going into the holiday weekend....and enjoying a few days off!!

My sweet Livi bug. She is seriously the best baby ever. I thought that Blake was, but Olivia is SO good. She is so happy and content. We have been so blessed to have TWO good natured babies!! Blake and his buddie Dylan had a great time at a pool party. Don't they look like old men here?! So cute.
Blake and my mom are "best friends." He seriously cannot get enough of his nana! He just LOVES to be with her...and lucky for him (and us) she feels the same way! They spent the WHOLE day together yesterday. Ryan had to work late and I was golfing with the girls, so she babysat while we were at work all day and then into the evening as well. They have so much fun together!!
Maggie (my parents dog) is doing good!! I snapped this cute picture a couple of weeks ago. My parents just installed an electric fence, so now she can hang out outside and we don't have to worry about her running away! The fireworks are FREAKING her right out though....this coming weekend is going to be tough for her. Poor thing!!
Blake is getting so big. I don't know if I am biased, but he is SO smart! It just amazes me the stuff that he learns and retains every single day now. He can hold a FULL conversation. It is so fun being his mama! I am proud :)

Ryan has an appt. down in the Detroit area tomorrow with an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon tomorrow. He was referred to him because of all of his back issues. I am hoping that he doesn't need surgery...but more than anything I am hoping that they can come to a plan where Ryan's back pain is lessened...SO, if that means surgery, so be it I guess! Wish us (him) luck!

Im baaaaaaaaaack!!

My few weeks from hell at work are OVER!! They concluded with my golf outing that took place yesterday! It is like a HUGE weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I can finally think about non-work related things again! I have been dreaming work (ugh!) for the past few weeks, but now I am done with all of my major summer events. June is by far by worst month at work!

SO…I can post here again and start to get some new pics taken as well. I did have these few pics from Father’s Day that I had neglected to post…so I want to get these up! SOOO cute. Ryan’s 1st Father’s Day as a daddy of two :). Of course I could not get a picture with him and both babies…that is just impossible these days!

SO....here's to catching up on life again....it feels so good!!

Quick Post

I have been a bad blogger lately...and it probaby isnt going to get much better until next week. This week is my busiest week at work of the whole year. I have a HUGE event that takes place Wed, Thurs, Fri and then my big golf outing on Monday...so I am swamped and running around like a crazy lady all day long!!

We had a great weekend and enjoyed the warm weather!! Saturday we went to a pool party. Blake had a blast! He is such a good swimmer. The swimming essons paid off!!

Sunday we spent time with my dad, ryans dad, went to an open house for Ryan's cousin, and celebrated fathers day for Ry...it was a crazy busy day! I am lucky to have some many awesome father's in my life...and my kids are lucky too!! A GREAT dad, and two AWESOME papa's both within a few miles!!

Olivia Kay is 6 months old today!

I really cannot believe that my baby girl is 6 months old today! The little sweetie has been through a lot in her short 6 months of life….but she is doing awesome now and we are so lucky to have her!!

A few stats:
-She now wears size 3-6 mo., or 6 mo. clothing
-She wears a size 2 diaper
-She smiles and laughs ALL of the time!
-She loves her brother and gets the biggest kick out of him
-She rolls over on her own, from front to back and back to front
-She is trying to sit up on her own, but hasn’t mastered it yet.
-She eats 1st foods (fruits and veggies) and rice cereal 2 -3 times per day. She is a really good eater. She takes formula in between feedings.
-She still gets up at night to eat, but usually just one time now. She goes right back to sleep.
-I am not sure how much she weighs because her 6 month well visit isn’t for a few weeks. My best guess is that she weighs about 15 pounds! She is still a peanut, but definitely catching up!
-Her favorite toys are her excersaucer and her floor play gym. She loves all of the toys, sounds, lights, etc.
-Her hair is coming in nicely…it is much darker and straighter than Blake’s was/is!
-Her eyes are SO pretty and they light up when she smiles!

We are really just so lucky to have such a perfect baby girl! I cannot believe that she will be 1 in 6 short months! EEEK!

Blake is 2 1/2 today!

My Blake is 2 and a half today! I really just can't believe that I have a 2 and a half year old! This past couple of years have been the fastest years of my life! I feel like my baby was just born, and now he is turning into such a big boy!!

A few stats:

Blake still has the most beautiful blue eyes ever!

He has lots and lots of blonde hair that we have to get cut often.

He is growing like a weed.

He is not potty trained, and doesnt show much interest yet.

He wears a size 4 diaper.

He is in 2T clothing. Some 24 mo. as well.

Tall and skinny.

He wears a size 7 shoe.

He is obsessed with wearing hats and sunglasses. everywhere.

He love "presents"...and thinks that anything that anyone buys is a "present, for me?!"

He is a really good sleeper, and is great about going to bed.

He loves "school" and all of his "friends"

We are still obsessed with Toy Story and Mickey Mouse.

His favorite foods are cereal, hamburgers, french fries, watermelon, and popsicles.

He loves his sissy and is so good to her.

He is a very good sharer and does well with other kids!

LOVES the playground...and just being outside.

He likes to read and color.

He can count to 12 with no help or prodding.

He sings a lot and likes to dance as well.

He talks and talks...has quite the imagination.

He is a big time "nana's" boy. He says, "I want my nana!"

He is SO sweet and tells us he loves (woves) us all of the time!

At night when we tuck him in he tells US "sweet dweams mama" "sweet dweams dada"....awww!! Just melts my heart!

He really is just the sweetest thing to be around.

I am so proud of him and feel SO lucky that he is mine!!

I can't get enough of this little girl!! I just love her SO mcuh!

Boat Ride!

We went on our first boat ride of the summer last weekend....and Olivia's 1st boat ride ever! It was a beautiful evening. Blake was so excited. His excitement lasted about half way around the lake, and then that turned to frustration because he wanted to drive! That would have been fine if he could just sit on Ryan's lap and steer...but he wanted to drive all by himself. He pitched a fit when he couldn't do it alone...what a stinker! Oh well....it was still a fun ride :)

At first he was so excited...just kept saying "I see a boat"..."I see a house"..."I see a bird"....and on and on!

Vrrrrrrrroom!!

We finally got Blake 4 wheeler back out! He got it for his birthday back in December, but didn't get much use out of it because there was snow on the ground! On Saturday we took it out to my parents house because they have a big driveway that is perfect for riding! We left it there for him to use there (we go there so often anyway) and on the way home he said....."oh no, my carrrrrrr".....he was so sad to not have it! ha, but he will be excited to ride when we visit next!!

Now he thinks that he needs a helmet though! I mean, seriously the thing only goes 2 MPH (if that)....not really necessary! BUT, he thinks that helmets are "cool" so we might as well keep him thinking that for the future, huh?!

He is at such a fun age! I just love that he has a personality and can communicate with us so well! I love each age...but it really does just get more and more fun with each and every stage!

Hungry girl!

Little Olivia Kay has been eating real food! We started about 3 weeks ago, and she is really getting the hang of it! She has had rice cereal...and then we started on green veggies, so peas and green beans....and we have just added sweet potatoes to the mix as well! Once we get all of the veggies down we will add fruit to the mix as well! She is growing like a weed and really filling out!

Weekly Weight Loss Update

Wellll..this week I lost 0.4....just under 1/2 of a pound! I will admit that it is a little discouraging...but I'll take it, because at least I am headed in the right direction!

As of today I am down a total of 15 pounds since Jan. 19th. I have lost a total of 9.16% of my total body weight!

I am looking forward to hitting that 10% goal soon. I have 1.8 pounds until I am "free lifetime" again at Weight Watchers. 3.8 pounds to go until I reach my goal!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Time for another What I'm Loving Wednesday hosted by Jamie!

1. I LOVE Sam's Club. Strange I know....but I could just spend hours in this store! ha....problem is that I end up with way too much stuff from buying in bulk :)....
2. I LOVE that it is Wednesday already. I could totally get used to having Monday's off. It has made for an awesome week!

3. I LOVE that we are going to a Loon's (our Minor League team) game this Friday night with a lot of friends! I am looking forward to it!

We have the Northern Lights Pavillion area reserved for my work event...so I get a bonus of "working" a fun event :)

4. I LOVE my cute cute kids.

Blake is getting so old. He just seems so mature to me lately!

and Olivia is filling out like crazy. Its great to see her gaining so much weight after being such a peanut for so long!
