Back to normal!!

Blake's little stomach bug is gone...praise the Lord!! He is back to his cute/crazy little self today. Times when Blake is sick make be so thankful that he isn't REALLY sick. I don't know how parents of sick children handle it! I guess you would handle it when needed...but just one day of sickness for sweet Blaker had me all in a tizzy! I just worry so much about him!!

Last time that we were in for Blake's well-visit his ped had us start on Pediasure to help him gain weight. The poor kid was in the 5th percentile for weight. We didn't want him to be a runt!
Well, let me tell you....just a couple months on that stuff and it is REALLY working. He has gained weight...and is getting a gut! ha...the cutest gut in the world. How come babies can pull of a "cute gut" and us mama's could never have a "cute" gut!? not fair :)
We went to Blake's follow-up allergy visit on Friday...and he was already up to the 25th percentile!! Doc wants us to keep him on the pediasure for a bit longer....but it is doing the trick!!

  1. I'm glad he's feeling better!
That's wonderful that the pediasure is working. Both of my kids have been on it before. It helped my son move up a few percentiles in weight, and kept my daughter from losing. I hope it continues to work for Blake!

  3. So glad to hear he's feeling better! Riley drinks pediasure too. He calls it his milkshake. It has helped him gain weight as well. Now Averly on the other hand is my little chunky monkey! She went for her 8 wk ck up today & weighed 14.3 lbs! I don't think we'll have to worry about giving her pediasure anytime! Haha!
