How far along: 37 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 39 pounds…..Gained back those pounds (+ a few) that I lost last week! Lots of water weight now. My ankles (I mean cankles) and getting BIG!
How big is baby? At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.
Maternity Clothes: yep!
Sleep: Not good this week. Have been pretty darn uncomfortable!! I figure its practice for the night-time feedings again.
Best Moment of the Week: Hearing the heartbeat. Also hearing that she is still heard down, that I am dilated to 2-3 cm, and 80% effaced. Things are moving in the right direction!
Movement: oh yes….always! More shifting now…and more pressure down low (vs. up top).
Food Craving: just everything! ha
Food Aversions: none
Morning Sickness: none
Gender: GIRL!! (we did have the U/S tech confirm AGAIN at our U/S this week…she said 100% girl!)
Symptoms: heartburn, difficulty sleeping, contractions…but not regular
What I miss: sleeping…I am really tired this week!
What I'm looking forward to: seeing and holding my baby girl!! I am READY. I am sick of being pregnant and want her out!!
Look at that belly grow :) I am so excited for you she is goingt o be here anyday!! That is so exciting . . did i over look it or do you guys have a name picked out?
