I could just love on this little face all day long!!!
Took Blake to his pediatritian today for a one month follow up from his 18 mo. visit. At that visit he had a trace of an ear infection...which was about the 5th one that he had had in a few months...so we were back to make sure that it was all cleared up. WELL....it was still red, so the ped. referred us to a ENT. We see the ENT next Tuesday. I am hoping that it is nothing big...but our ped. said that she just wanted to be sure and to make sure that we got a good look. If there was permanant hearing loss from this that would be terrible!!
Blake really never acts like his ear is bothering him...so I am hopeful that it is no biggie and we are just being extra precautious!! He is such a happy boy. Now that he is communicating better it is so much easier to know what he wants and needs! His vocabulary is really growing (another reason why I think that his ears are OK). He is putting words together now...today when I left for work he said "bye mama"...awww.....what a big boy :). Bless his sweet little heart!!!

ReplyDeleteGlad that infection is cleared up! Lucas (my 9 yr old) had to have tubes in his ears when he was smaller. Then he had to have his tonsils and adenoids taken out - that was definitely not a fun experience!
ReplyDeleteI had 5 sets of tubes before I was 5 years old when I was little. Hope you guys don't have to go that route.

ReplyDeleteHe is such a doll baby! I'm sad to hear that he's having such bad ear problems. Hopefully its all going to be healed and good soon though.
