Top 2 Tuesday...Names

It is time again for Top 2 Tuesday. This week the theme is Names...particularly baby names. We aren't in NEED to a baby name right now, but it is always fun to think about! We didn't pick Blake William's name until he was about 1 day old. We went in to labor with a few names in mind...but Blake wasn't really even one of them! We were thinking either Benjamin (Ben) or William (Will)....but we love Blake and think that it fits our peanut perfectly!




Top 2 Favorite Names

Here is what I think at the moment...and it changes very frequently! AND, Ryan and I have not really talked about these...so this is just me!!

1.) For a girl I like Chloe. I just think that it is such a cute name....

2.) For a boy I like Max. I have liked this name for a long time...but Ryan's fam had a dog named Max...so can I really name a child the same name as a dog (who is not deceased, by the way)?!

I think that boys names are harder. I love LOTS of girls names and a girl can fit into a "cutesy" name for her entire life. A boy has to have a cute name that grows into a manly name...you know?!?

    will is one of my brother's names and i LOVE max! i think blake is adorable for your little one - truthfully i didn't do this because i didn't want any of my friends that are close to having babies or are thinking about trying when we are to steal them, ha!

    I totally agree that girls names are WAY easier to choose! I love the name Blake, unfortunatley we alrady have one in the family!

    I love the name Max, but it doesn't fit in with my husband's stupid "J" name rule (read about it on my blog if you haven't hahaha). It's such a cute name!

    Aww, love both names! My friend just named her little boy Maddox and they call him Mad and Max...it's so cute.

    No,we woudln't call him Sully. Reminds me too much of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman..haha. We would call him Riggs. I just adore that name but like a 3 syllable (sp?) first name for a boy.

    I think you're good as long as pup Max and babe Max aren't say out in the yard playing... although it may be easier that way, you can yell one name and they'll both come running!

    I like those names too!

    We had a hard time agreeing on names. I like different names, nothing too common, but not too weird either. My hubby on the other hand likes very common names....BORING!

    We picked the same girl's name! :) It is a really cute name!

    I love William(of course!) and Benjamin is on my list too. My dad had a dog with my name so I always use to tease him that he named me after a dog! Ha!

    I love Max! And you can totally name a baby the same as a dog. My little girl is Abby and we have a dog named Ali. Gets confusing, but we love the names!
