WELLL....I thought that Blake was kicking the bug that he had...but it came back :(. Poor little guy just cant catch a break right now. He has pretty much been sick the whole month of January. Hopefully February bring him some good health!
We went up north on Saturday, but on Sunday a.m. when we picked him up Grandma Julie said that he was sick again. SO, back to the doctor's we went. They told us that the antibiotic that he was prescribed 2 weeks ago apparently didn't work. SO, we got a new antibiotic and some drops for the ear pain. His ears were still red, he is still stuffy, and has an ugly sounding cough.
After only 2 doses of these antibiotics I could already see a difference. He slept for 12 hours straight last night and woke up feeling better. He stayed home from daycare this morning. My mom came to watch him. I am heading home at noon to snuggle with him for the rest of the day.
Hopefully by tomorrow the poor kid is back to his old self!!

Yea, we had a rough bout with something to there for several weeks. Antibiotics are amazing aren't they?! It's so hard to see our little babes go through this stuff. You just want to take it and out it on you instead, it's heart wrenching!
ReplyDeleteDaycares and schools should just be closed down, Ha! Glad that he is on the up and up again. I can't beleive the first round of meds didn't take, huh? That's no good!! Glad you got away for the weekend? That's good!
PS. My hubby is the same way. I'm liek you were right behind me, what are you doing? It usually bothers me when I'm in a big hurry or think I'm in a big hurry! Aren't all moms always in a hurry?!

That poor boy! I hope February also brings him good health! I hate that he has been sick again. You can tell in the pictures how bad he is feeling, love his heart. Hope he is better very soon!
